“Foucault Pendulum at the Indiana State Museum” by Dan Grossman

Foucault Pendulum at the Indiana State Museum

mimicking
the earth’s rotation:
I watch the bob rotate
ever so slowly around the room
for an hour. It’s more exciting than
reading Foucault’s Pendulum that claims
Hitler persecuted the Jewish people merely
because they possessed Kabbalistic knowledge.
Did he think Earth hollow as a bagel? By find-
ing the empty space he’d become master of
mankind because per Michel Foucault
power = history. Contemplating
the novel, I feel dizzy, almost
fall down. The danger of
conspiracy shit.
